Gregory K. Bowser has been a fee-based financial planner helping families in the community prepare and invest for retirement for over three decades. His extensive retirement planning experience has been invaluable guiding retirees through uncertain times and helping them live a comfortable retirement.  He believes in providing evidence-based retirement solutions at a reasonable fee to help retirees live their best life.

Mr. Bowser is the managing principal of Asset Management Services, Inc. dba Safe Harbor Asset Management Services, a Registered Investment Advisory firm registered with the State of Maryland. He is responsible for compliance as the Chief Compliance Officer for Safe Harbor Asset Management Services, Inc. (AMS).  Greg is also the Chief Executive and Chief Investment Officer of AMS, Inc.  Greg has been accredited with the Certified Financial Planner® Designation for close to 30 years. He has been a student of the Financial Services Industries and has consistently been at the forefront of the changing environment.  He was early to adopt the Registered Investment Advisor fiduciary standard business model.  His research led him to implement the low-cost index investment strategies that have proven to outperform the majority of active fund managers.  He was amongst the first to implement the direct indexing approach for the average investor that was only available to the wealthy and has become the current fad.  Greg has trained his team to fully embrace the new technological advances that have helped the small advisory firms be more agile than most of the larger firms.

Mr. Bowser graduated from Towson University and then devoted five years of service in the Army as an Aviator. Upon completion of his military service as a Captain, he immediately started his career as a financial advisor. When not building his business, he has donated his time to coaching football, basketball, and lacrosse.  He is an active working member of The Extreme Family Outreach, a charity serving the underprivileged communities along the Route 40 Corridor in Harford County.  He is a past president and current board member of the Route 40 Business Association.  He is a current board member of the Community Foundation Harford County.   He enjoys golfing and has been a member of the Maryland Golf and Country Clubs. He is also the manager of his APA pool team.  He is a member of the Bush River Yacht Club and he enjoys spending time with his family and boating on the Chesapeake Bay.  He has been happily married to his wife Susie Bowser for over 40 years and is very proud of his sons, Eric and Brad, and his four granddaughters.  Eric is a graduate of South Florida University and has joined the team as an Investment Advisor Representative and is currently the managing principal of Safe Harbor Financial Group, LLC, an Insurance and Annuity Brokerage Company.
